As a key player in developing Astek’s cybersecurity offering, I strive to embody a technical, human, and strategic vision of a constantly evolving field. My experience, passion for cybersecurity, and roots in the Brittany ecosystem make me a cornerstone of our cybersecurity division in Rennes.

A cybersecurity expert with a solid background

With over 13 years of experience in cybersecurity, I have acquired rare hands-on expertise. Before joining Astek, I spent ten years at Thales in technically-focused roles, including penetration testing, code and configuration audits, incident response, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research, including several 0-day Windows vulnerabilities that I reported and presented at international conferences.

This technical background now allows me to lead complex cybersecurity projects and support our clients with a comprehensive vision.

Structuring and growing Astek’s cybersecurity offering

Joining Astek provided me the opportunity to structure a complete cybersecurity offering to meet the growing needs of companies. My role covers several key missions:

Offering Development
I expanded the historical offering (governance, SOC) with new services such as security audits, cybersecurity awareness, phishing campaigns, incident response, and compliance, including BCP/DRP, ISMS.

Management and Recruitment
I also lead the cybersecurity teams, oversee recruitment, skills development, and ensure the quality of deliverables to maintain operational excellence.

Local anchoring in Rennes
Astek strategically chose to establish its cybersecurity division in Rennes, at the heart of the French cyber ecosystem, where I play a key role.

Rennes, a thriving cybersecurity hub

Rennes is now a central hub for cybersecurity in France, alongside Paris.
Astek is located close to the Cyber Excellence Center, where we are active members, within an ecosystem rich in startups, incubators, labs, schools, and major events like European Cyber Week, Cyber Breakfasts, and SSTIC. I also deploy skills sponsorship initiatives, such as penetration testing or phishing campaigns for local associations.

Continuous and collaborative cyber monitoring

To stay at the forefront, my teams and I maintain continuous monitoring of emerging threats and technologies. This includes daily monitoring of specialized sources, participating in CTFs, conferences and challenges, organizing events for European Cyber Week in partnership with Airbus, and experimenting with innovative topics such as AI, OSINT, and deepfakes.

A differentiating approach focused on adaptation

Unlike a rigid, standardized approach, we adopt an agile and personalized method at Astek. We tailor our solutions to the context, challenges, and maturity level of each client. Our strength lies in customization.

This approach allows us to meet the needs of large corporations as well as SMEs, mid-sized companies, or less mature organizations, with solutions adapted to their scale and budget constraints.

A proactive vision of cybersecurity

For me, cybersecurity has become a strategic and universal concern for companies. The evolving cyber landscape, professionalization of attackers, and emergence of new risks require increasingly integrated and resilient cybersecurity.

At Astek, this vision translates into a strategy of defense in depth, continuous training, and tailored support to build robust, scalable, and resilient information systems.
